WHAT TO EXPECT

To help make your first visit to Chancellor Baptist enjoyable, here are some of the answers to the questions we hear most often:

Worship

Our 9:00am Contemporary Service presents an upbeat worship experience with our praise team, keyboards, guitars, and drums. The 10:30am Worship Service features a choir and orchestra with praise and worship songs as well as traditional hymns. In both services, our Senior Pastor, Eric Goforth, delivers a message that is challenging, relevant and biblically based.

What to Wear

Come the way that you feel most comfortable. We are happy to have you as our guest. What you will notice is that the 9:00am Contemporary Service usually runs from jeans to business casual. During the 10:30am Worship Service, most people wear business casual to business attire.

The Sermon

Every Sunday you will hear a relevant scripture-based message that is designed to be helpful in your everyday life. These messages will help you develop a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and provide a strong biblical foundation for your life.

Sunday School

Sunday classes are held for both worship services. If you attend the Contemporary Service, Sunday School begins at 10:30am. If you attend the Traditional Worship Service, Sunday School begins at 9am. There are classes by age and multiple adult classes.

Welcome Centers

When you enter the church through either main entrance, you will find a greeter and an area to welcome our guests. At the Welcome Centers you will find information on our services and classes. We also have special gifts for our first-time guests.
