Missions Alive
Missions Alive is an opportunity for children ages 4-5th grade to experience missions in an interactive and exciting way. Leaders Hilary Shampine and Dean Cumbia meet with the groups meet on Sunday evenings from 5:30 - 7:00. The groups include:
Mission Friends: Ages 3 - K. This is a class for boys and girls together. They learn about missionaries, and ways they can demonstrate God's love to others. This is a very active group doing such things as singing, crafts, food tasting and many other fun things.
Girls in Action (GA's): Grades 1 - 5. This is an organization for girls. The girls spend time each week learning about all aspects of Missions. It is a time in which the girls are submerged in the on-going efforts to reach others for Christ. The girls work hard memorizing scripture, making crafts, studying the state and countries in which missionaries are serving, and actually seeing ways they can be on-mission for Christ. Each girl who joins receives a vest and earns patches for each mission project they complete.
Royal Ambassadors (RA's): Grades 1 - 5. This is an organization for boys that encourages a Christ like lifestyle and teaches young men how to be on-mission for Christ. The boys study about missionaries, memorize scripture, and get involved in service projects. Each boy who joins receives a vest and earns patches for each mission project they complete.
