Mary’s Heart, Martha’s Hands
“Mary’s
Heart, Martha’s Hands” is
the women’s ministry
of CBC. It is for
women of
all ages lead by women of
all ages. The
group is
focused on
building
earthly friendships
and our relationship
with our Heavenly Father
thru Bible study and projects.
The Bible study meets every other Saturday at 9 am in the Back Door Café. Beverly Campbell, Tina Harris, and Nancy Davis oversee the study. On the third Saturday of each month we have a Prayer Breakfast; we eat then share prayer requests and praises. If this is also on a week that a Bible Study is scheduled, then we go right into the lesson at 9 am.
Some of our projects have or will include the following:

• Friday/Saturday Nights 5th Quarter for our youth in the Back Door Café. These events have included movies, fellowship, games, free food, and just fun in a safe environment for our youth.

• The Samaritan’s Purse Shoe Box Project will be held in November; our goal is to collect 200 shoe boxes to be sent out to needy children. This is sponsored by “Mary’s Heart, Martha’s Hands” but involves the entire church body.
